For over 130 years, Sigma Nu’s Beta Chi Chapter has been a cornerstone of brotherhood, leadership, and impact at Stanford. Founded in 1891 by Carl Lane Clemans, we established the first fraternity house on campus and played a defining role in Greek life on the West Coast.

From pioneering diversity in the 1960s to shaping the campus culture for generations, Sigma Nu has always stood for integrity, resilience, and excellence.
